06:35 AM EDT, 04/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) exported more than 1.5 trillion Indian rupees ($17.3 billion) worth of iPhones from India in the fiscal year ended March 2025, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing India's technology minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

The export surge highlights the technology giant's accelerated shift away from China-based manufacturing, according to the report.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to request for comment from MT Newswires.
