Market Chatter: Apple Fined by Russian Court for Violating 'LGBT Propaganda' Rules

12:03 PM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) was fined six million rubles ($76,516) by a Russian court for alleged violation of the country's "LGBT propaganda" rules, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing Russian news agency TASS.

The iPhone maker was fined three million rubles in two civil cases Tuesday, the report said.

Last month, the company was fined a total of 7.5 million rubles for the same violation, according to the report.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
