07:16 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) customers in China are taking to social media to voice their complaints about scratches on the back of the newly released iPhone 17 models, Bloomberg News reported Friday.

The deep blue versions of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max had scuffs and scratches after being on display for just a few hours, the news outlet said, based on its in-store visits in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

It's unclear if the issue exists outside China, Bloomberg reported.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
