Under the deal, Apple ( AAPL ) will get first dibs on projects produced by North Road, which has been mostly aligned with Netflix over the last five years, the report said.

North Road has already produced television shows for Apple's ( AAPL ) streaming service, the report said.

Apple ( AAPL ) and North Road did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
