06:29 AM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is nearing a deal to acquire talent and technology from startup Prompt AI, CNBC reported Friday, citing an audio recording of a Prompt AI all-hands meeting.

Prompt AI is an 11-person company. Employees who do not end up with Apple ( AAPL ) will be paid a reduced salary, according to the report.

No financial details were disclosed, but CNBC noted that "Apple's ( AAPL ) deal for Prompt is much smaller than recent high-profile transactions."

Apple ( AAPL ) and Prompt AI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
