08:59 AM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is planning to give higher-end displays to its MacBook Air, iPad Air and iPad mini lines, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
New versions of each device are being tested with organic light-emitting diode screens, with the iPad mini likely the first to be upgraded, the people said.
An iPad mini equipped with OLED could be rolled out as early as 2026 and cost up to $100 more due to the more expensive display, according to the report.
The company has yet to finalize the upgrade plans, which it could change or be postponed, the report said.
Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
