06:54 AM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) has spurned attempts by Meta Platforms ( META ) to integrate the social media company's AI chatbot Llama into iPhones, Bloomberg reported late Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The companies' discussions concluded months ago without reaching an agreement, the report said.

Apple ( AAPL ) said earlier this month that it would incorporate Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI's ChatGPT into its devices and would soon integrate Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Gemini.

Apple ( AAPL ) and Meta did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
