07:24 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is set to expand its manufacturing operations in Vietnam with a planned launch of three new products, Bloomberg News reported late Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The tech giant is developing new home devices for 2026, including indoor security cameras and a display to control appliances and serve a house command hub. It is also planning to develop a more advanced tabletop robot for 2027, the report said.

All three products are to be built in Vietnam, the sources said, adding that the company is collaborating with Chinese EV maker BYD for the home hub display and the robot, according to the report.

Neither Apple ( AAPL ) nor BYD immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
