03:50 PM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple's ( AAPL ) Vice President of Engineering Dan Riccio is retiring this month, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the move.

Mike Rockwell will continue to lead the Vision Products Group on a day-to-day basis, while John Ternus, senior vice president of hardware engineering, will oversee a couple thousand engineers working on headsets and related technology, the people reportedly said.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
