01:39 PM EDT, 08/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ares Management ( ARES ) was among the private-equity firms that held meetings with the National Football League on Thursday as the league seeks institutional investment, Sportico reported Friday.

The NFL also held separate meetings with Arctos Partners, Sixth Street, and a consortium that includes Blackstone (BX), Carlyle (CG), CVC and Dynasty Equity, the report said, citing people familiar with the meetings.

The NFL did not disclose what the next steps in the process may be, the report added.

Neither the NFL nor any of the firms immediately responded to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
