02:27 PM EDT, 06/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AtkinsRealis Group on Thursday said it plans to sell its 6.76% stake in Ontario's privately owned Highway 407 toll highway in the Toronto Region, Canadian Press reported.

The sale of the stake in 407 International will come by the end of 2027.

The news agency said the company made the announcement at its annual investor day presentations.

The company also said it will also aim to expand investments in rapidly growing markets, including initiatives in engineering services across the U.S., utilizing its nuclear expertise and investing in accretive mergers and acquisitions.

AtkinsRealis shares were last seen up $3.65 to $58.44 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
