07:00 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AT&T ( T ) is seeking over $2 billion for its Mexican wireless business, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.
According to the sources, the company is working with advisers but has yet to make a final decision.
AT&T ( T ) entered Mexico in 2014 through acquisitions and invested more than $10 billion, but growth has remained limited, the report said.
Other telecom companies, including Spain's Telefonica, are also considering exits from the Mexican market, the outlet reported.
AT&T ( T ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
