Dec 18, 2024 12:20 PM

02:46 PM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AT&T ( T ) and Sweetgreen ( SG ) are telling their non-frontline staff to work from office more frequently starting next month, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

Support employees at both companies currently spend about three days a week for onsite work and some days for remote work, as the work-from-home setup continues after the pandemic.

AT&T's ( T ) US corporate employees have been told to be in the office five times a week, the report said.

A majority of the telecom company's employees and leaders "never stopped working on location for the full work week - including during the pandemic," an AT&T ( T ) spokesperson told MT Newswires, without confirming the report.

Sweetgreen's ( SG ) support staffers have been required to work a "hard four" days a week onsite from Jan. 2, the report said, citing Sweetgreen ( SG ) Chief Executive Jonathan Neman.

Sweetgreen ( SG ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
