04:45 AM EDT, 05/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baidu ( BIDU ) is preparing to launch its Apollo Go autonomous ride-hailing service in Switzerland, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Chinese company has been in discussions to provide the service with Switzerland's PostAuto, a division of Swiss Post that offers public transportation, the report said.

Baidu ( BIDU ) plans to begin testing the technology by the end of 2025, the report said.

The company also plans to launch Apollo Go in Turkey, the report said.

Baidu ( BIDU ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
