Mar 17, 2025 5:25 AM

08:04 AM EDT, 03/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of America ( BAC ) is increasing oversight of the workloads of its younger bankers, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

The bank said senior bankers will now be responsible for making sure junior investment bankers aren't overworked, the Journal reported.

The move comes after a 35-year-old Bank of America ( BAC ) associate died last May of a blood clot in a coronary artery after working more than 100 hours a week for multiple weeks.

Bank of America ( BAC ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
