Market Chatter: Bank of America Names Citigroup's Johnbull Okpara Chief Accounting Officer, Reuters Reports

06:48 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of America ( BAC ) named Citigroup's ( C ) former Chief Accounting Officer Johnbull Okpara for the same position, effective December, Reuters reported Monday, citing an internal memo.

Okpara succeeds Rudolf Bless. The two will work together during a transition that will extend into 2025, Reuters reported.

Okpara has worked for Morgan Stanley (MS), American Express (AXP), and Ernst & Young.

Bank of America ( BAC ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
