01:37 PM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of Montreal ( BNKD ) is considering a sale of its transportation finance arm for about $1 billion, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The bank has been contacting potential buyers, which could include private equity and private credit firms, the report said, citing the people.
