04:30 PM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Barclays ( BCS ) is in advanced conversations with Samsung Electronics to launch a consumer credit card in the US, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, quoting unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

Samsung and Barclays ( BCS ) may announce the project by the end of this year, but talks have missed earlier deadlines and a deal is not certain, the report said.

Barclays ( BCS ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
