Market Chatter: Barclays Withdraws Reworld's Loan Facility

12:20 PM EDT, 08/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Barclays ( JJCTF ) withdrew the $579 million loan facility Reworld was looking to reprice, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The move was made last week as commitments to the Reworld deal were due Aug. 6, the report added.

The sustainable waste solutions company was formerly called Covanta.

Neither Barclays ( JJCTF ) nor Reworld immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
