02:27 PM EST, 12/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Barrick Gold (GOLD) is seeking buyers for its Tongon gold mine in the Ivory Coast, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Barrick started working with Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) in November to identify buyers and solicit bids, the people reportedly told Bloomberg.

Barrick did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
