06:40 AM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway-owned (BRK.A, BRK.B) utility PacifiCorp reached a $150 million settlement with 378 plaintiffs over the Slater wildfire in 2020 that destroyed parts of Oregon and northern California, Reuters reported late Monday.

The settlement resolves substantially all individual claims in northern California related to the fire, which burned about 157,000 acres and crossed into Oregon, the report said.
