07:28 AM EST, 01/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A, BRK.B) Pilot unit is closing its international oil trading business to focus on its North American businesses and the Pilot Flying J service stations and truck stops in the US, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
Sources also told Reuters that the unit has already let go most employees running the running international trading business, except a number of traders who are still completing contractual obligations with customers.
Berkshire Hathaway did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
