02:15 PM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock (BLK) is one of the companies weighing a purchase of HPS Investment Partners, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

BlackRock and HPS have held talks, and HPS is also mulling an initial public offering that may value the company at $10 billion or higher, Bloomberg reported.

BlackRock didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
