06:53 AM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blackrock ( BLK ) is set to unveil plans for a 500 million pounds ($679.9 million) investment in UK data centres next week during President Trump's state visit, Sky News reported Saturday.

According to the report, BlackRock ( BLK ) will partner with Digital Gravity Partners to acquire and modernize existing data centres.

The move is part of a broader UK government effort to position the country as a prime destination for foreign investment, with several major deals expected next week across energy, finance, and technology sectors, Sources told Sky News sources.

BlackRock ( BLK ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
