Market Chatter: BlackRock's Australasia Private Credit Head Stephen Allan Leaves
Jul 7, 2026 3:43 AM

06:15 AM EDT, 07/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock's ( BLK ) head of Australasia private credit, Stephen Allan, has left the company, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Allan, who joined the firm in December 2023 and was based in Sydney, left last month, the report said.

Allan's departure marks the most recent senior departure since the asset manager acquired private credit firm HPS Investment Partners last year, the report said. The company said at the time that the acquisition aimed to accelerate demand resulting from a shift in financing activity toward the capital markets.

BlackRock ( BLK ) did not immediately respond to an out-of-office-hours request for comment from MT newswires.
