09:09 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) is considering the sale of the Grand Wailea Resort and is working with a broker that is contacting potential buyers for the property in Maui, Hawaii, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

No final decisions have been reached and the asset manager could decide to keep the Waldorf Astoria-branded resort, which it acquired from Singapore-based GIC Pte for about $1.1 billion in 2018, the report said.

Blackstone didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
