Market Chatter: Blackstone Targets at Least $10 Billion for New Asia Private Equity Fund

10:20 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) is looking to raise at least $10 billion for its third Asia-focused private equity fund, Reuters reported Thursday, citing two people with knowledge of the situation.

The investment vehicle will mainly focus on India with Japan and Australia the two other main markets, while China isn't included, the report said.

Blackstone declined to comment, Reuters said.

Blackstone didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
