03:14 PM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) and TPG (TPG) are in advanced discussions to acquire Hologic ( HOLX ) in a deal that may value the medical device maker at more than $17 billion including debt, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The parties are discussing a price of $75 a share for Hologic ( HOLX ), and a deal may be announced in the coming days, the report said.

Hologic ( HOLX ), Blackstone, and TPG did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.

Hologic ( HOLX ) shares rose 2.9% in Monday trading, Blackstone gained 2.8% and TPG advanced 2.1%.
