Market Chatter: Blue Owl Capital Close to Acquiring Minority Stake in Linden Capital

01:14 PM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blue Owl Capital (OWL) is close to reaching a deal to buy a minority stake in healthcare-focused private equity firm Linden Capital Partners, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Blue Owl is looking to provide capital to Linden through its flagship GP stakes fund and its first vehicle dedicated to mid-sized market investment managers, the report said.

The report said a Blue Owl spokesperson declined to comment, while Linden didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Neither Blue Owl nor Linden immediately replied to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Blue Owl shares were nearly 2% higher in recent trading.
