Market Chatter: Boeing 737 Max Lands in China for Delivery Amid Easing Tariff War
Jun 9, 2025 3:57 AM

06:33 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A new Boeing ( BA ) 737 Max aircraft landed back in China Monday, signaling that the company is resuming deliveries to Chinese customers amid easing US-China trade tensions, Reuters reported, citing flight tracking data from Flightradar24.

The plane slated for Xiamen Airlines landed at Boeing's ( BA ) Zhoushan completion center near Shanghai after leaving Seattle Saturday, according to the report. The aircraft was returned to the US in mid-April amid an intensifying trade war between the two global economic giants, Flightradar24 data reportedly showed.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
