Market Chatter: Boeing 787 Aircraft Price Could Go Up by $40 Million Due to Tariffs, AerCap CEO Says

10:27 AM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The price of a Boeing ( BA ) 787 aircraft could go up by $40 million in the "worst-case scenario" due to tariffs, AerCap ( AER ) Chief Executive Aengus Kelly said Wednesday on CNBC.

In that scenario, in which a 25% tariff increase is implemented across the board, most airlines will turn to Boeing's ( BA ) rival Airbus, Kelly told CNBC.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
