About two thirds of the planes will be narrowbody jets, with the remainder long-haul widebodies offering no more than 350 seats, the report quoted Addou as saying in an interview. The airline is also looking for 30 regional jets.
The airline is evaluating offers from manufacturers, the report said.
Boeing ( BA ), Airbus, Embraer ( ERJ ) and Royal Air Maroc did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
