09:43 AM EST, 11/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) will not face a criminal charge over two fatal 737 Max crashes after a federal judge in Texas approved a non-prosecution agreement struck by the company and the US Department of Justice, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

The settlement agreement requires Boeing ( BA ) to pay $1.1 billion in fines and compensation to family members of the crash victims, the report said.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
