01:07 PM EST, 11/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) has appointed Colin Miler, a former Northrop Grumman (NOC) aeronautics engineering leader and ex-Air Force commander, to head its Phantom Works division, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

Miler will lead Boeing's ( BA ) advanced research and development division for Pentagon projects, which is now being streamlined into a unified entity within the company's defense business, the Journal reported, citing a company statement.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of Boeing ( BA ) were down more than 1% in recent trading.
