03:29 PM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837 will restart mediation on Monday, Oct. 20, to work toward ending a strike impacting about 3,200 workers in the St. Louis area, the IAM Union reported on Friday.

The strike, now nearing its 12th week, involves workers at Boeing ( BA ) facilities building military aircraft and defense systems, the report said.

The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service offered to restart talks, it added.

Boeing ( BA ) shares were up 1.2% in recent trading.

Boeing ( BA ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
