Market Chatter: Boeing, Lockheed Martin in Talks to Sell Rocket-Launching JV to Sierra Space

04:33 PM EDT, 08/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) and Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) are in negotiations to sell their joint venture United Launch Alliance to privately held Sierra Space, Reuters reported Friday, quoting sources familiar with the matter.

A deal may value the rocket-launching company between $2 billion and $3 billion, the report said, adding the talks could end without a deal materializing.

Boeing ( BA ) and Lockheed declined Reuters' requests for comments.

Both declined to comment to MT Newswires, while Sierra didn't immediately respond.
