Market Chatter: Boeing Resumes Jet Shipments to China Amid Trade Spat
Jun 6, 2025 11:14 AM

01:41 PM EDT, 06/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) has resumed shipments of commercial jets to China for the first time since early April, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing Flightradar24 data.

A 737 Max aircraft took off for Hawaii in the morning, marking the first leg of its journey to Boeing's ( BA ) Zhoushan facility in China, where the company typically completes deliveries for domestic customers.

The pending resumption of deliveries comes amid ongoing trade tensions between the US and China, particularly around rare-earth minerals and semiconductors, according to the news outlet.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
