Market Chatter: Boeing Resumes Widebody Jet Deliveries to China
Jun 27, 2024 4:36 AM

07:00 AM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) is restarting widebody 777 and 787 plane deliveries to China which were recently halted because of a Chinese regulatory review, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

Orders of the widebody jets are expected to be delivered in the coming days, while deliveries of Boeing's ( BA ) 737 MAX are expected to resume as early as next month, the report said.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China was conducting a review of batteries contained in the 25-hour cockpit voice recorder that resulted in the temporary halt, the report added.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
