Market Chatter: Boeing Secures Tentative Deal With Striking Defense Workers
Sep 10, 2025 1:32 PM

04:07 PM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) has reached a tentative agreement with striking workers at its defense unit, with a fresh five-year accord that will boost wages and restore a signing bonus, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

The IAM Union members at Boeing Defense will vote on the deal on Friday, as per a statement from the labor union, the report added.

Around 3,200 workers walked off to strike in Boeing ( BA ) facilities in St. Louis, St. Charles, Mo., and Mascoutah early last month after rejecting the plane maker's latest four-year labor contract.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment. The IAM Union could not be reached.
