11:11 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) is set to win approval from EU antitrust regulators for its $4.7 billion acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ) , Reuters reported Tuesday, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter.

The approved plan is expected to include sales of some of Spirit's businesses, the report said.

Boeing ( BA ) and Spirit did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
