01:07 PM EDT, 06/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) signed a 3.7 trillion Ugandan shilling ($984.6 million) agreement with Uganda Airlines for 10 new aircraft, Uganda Broadcasting Corp. reported Wednesday.

The deal covers eight passenger jets, a 767 wide-body converted freighter and a 737 converted freighter, the report said.

Uganda's government will make an initial deposit of 460 billion shillings from domestic revenue, with Boeing ( BA ) first delivering four passenger aircraft, the report said.

Boeing ( BA ) and Uganda Airlines did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
