11:24 AM EST, 12/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) is laying off around 396 employees at different locations in Washington State, Reuters reported Monday, citing a worker adjustment and retraining notification.

The lay offs are part of the the company's plan revealed in October to cut workforce by 17,000 workers.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
