08:16 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A Boeing ( BA ) union representing more than 3,200 striking workers will vote on Sunday on an existing company contract offer with minor modifications, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a union memo.
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said the offer came without a recommendation from the union's bargaining committee, according to the report.
Modifications to the contract offer including giving strikers more time before returning to work and removing a provision allowing non-union workers to perform union tasks for up to 30 days after the strike ends, according to the report.
Boeing ( BA ) defense workers at plants in the St. Louis area have been on strike for about 80 days, Reuters reported.
Boeing ( BA ) and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
