11:05 AM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing's ( BA ) delivery of Air Force One aircraft is facing further delays due to supply chain issues and changing requirements for the jet, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed senior Trump administration official.

The program may be delayed until 2029 or later, after Boeing ( BA ) failed to deliver the first aircraft in December as announced by the White House over the weekend, according to the report.

Boeing ( BA ) has postponed the delivery of the first jet until 2027 or 2028, the report said.

Boeing ( BA ) and the White House did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
