01:28 PM EDT, 03/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) is looking to sell 50% of its solar unit Lightsource bp for cash with a commitment for future investments, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a sales document.

The company expects bids to be submitted in June and plans to shortlist bidders in July, according to the report.

BP and Lightsource bp did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
