Market Chatter: BP Pulse Signs Deal With Simon Property for More Than 900 EV Chargers

10:39 AM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) unit BP Pulse has entered into an agreement with Simon Property Group ( SPG ) to install and operate more than 900 electric vehicle chargers at 75 locations in the US, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing the companies.

The first sites with the BP Pulse chargers are scheduled to open to the public in early 2026, the news agency reported, citing a joint statement by BP and Simon.

BP Pulse Americas Chief Executive Sujay Sharma declined to disclose the financial terms of the agreement, but said the company was working on more such deals, Reuters reported.

Simon and BP didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
