04:35 AM EST, 11/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BP's (BP) 400-mile Olympic Pipeline remains shut after a fuel leak earlier this month near Everett, Washington, Reuters reported Thursday citing an emailed statement by the company.
Response crews have started excavation of the pipelines to allow for visual inspection, BP reportedly said.
The company has not provided a timeline for restarting the pipeline, according to the report.
Washington Governor, Bob Ferguson, reportedly declared an emergency on Wednesday due to the shutdown as it has disrupted jet fuel supply to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
BP did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter
