09:03 AM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BP's (BP) Whiting refinery in Indiana has multiple units that are offline, Reuters reported Friday, citing data from Wood Mackenzie.

The refinery, which has a capacity of 440,000 barrels per day, was actively flaring early on Friday, a source told Reuters, according to the report.

BP and Wood Mackenzie did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
