05:28 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Broadcom ( AVGO ) flagged supply chain constraints and warned that its manufacturing partner, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) , is nearing capacity limits as demand for artificial intelligence chips continues to grow, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a company executive.

Natarajan Ramachandran, a Broadcom ( AVGO ) product marketing director, told reporters that Taiwan Semiconductor's plan to boost capacity in 2027 "has kind of choked the supply chain in 2026," according to Reuters.

Ramachandran said the supply issues also impact other technology supply chains, apart from AI chips, Reuters added.

Broadcom ( AVGO ) and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
