04:39 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) is targeting $10 billion in equity for a new fund aimed at investing in infrastructure tied to artificial intelligence, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing firm executives.
The Canadian investment firm has already raised half of the targeted amount from investors, including Nvidia ( NVDA ) and Kuwait Investment Authority, according to the report.
Brookfield aims to build and acquire up to $100 billion worth of AI-related infrastructure, the WSJ reported.
Brookfield, Nvidia ( NVDA ), and Kuwait Investment Authority didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
Brookfield shares were down 2.1% in recent premarket activity, while Nvidia ( NVDA ) rose 0.3%.
